Obituary for Patricia Anne "Pat" Talley
Patricia Anne “Pat” Talley, age 88, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away peacefully Sunday, February 25, 2024 at The Villas of Hollybrook in Harrisburg, Illinois. She was born August 15, 1935 in Cambria, Illinois to Joe L. and Imogene (Talley) Stinnett. Pat was a member of The PEO and taught Sunday School classes for toddlers faithfully for many years at the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Illinois where she was a member. She married Ronald Kay Talley in 1953 and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2017.
Surviving are her son, Dr. Keith and wife Paula Talley of Carmi, Illinois. Daughter, Mary Anne and husband Rusty Borders of Harrisburg, Illinois. Sister, Cindy Ford of Harrisburg, Illinois. Five grandchildren, Tim and wife Jayna Borders, Joey and wife Stephani Borders, Sarah and husband Josh Noelle, Caitlin and husband Jake Keepes and Lincoln and wife Alexa Talley. Ten great grandchildren, Layla Borders, Kennedy Borders, Will Borders, Graham Borders, Claire Bea Borders, Ryan Noelle, Sloane Noelle, Oliver Keepes, Talley Keepes and Leighton Talley. Sister-in-law, Suzanne and husband Randy Mitchell of Carterville, Illinois. Brother-in-law, John Wheatley of Charlotte, North Carolina and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Husband, Kay Talley and sister, Nancy Wheatley.
Funeral Services for Pat Talley will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Chris Winkleman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Illinois. Arrangements in care of the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Pat’s memory to the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Illinois.
